Terms of Service
Last updated on August 7, 2026.
These terms govern your use of OK JSON, a macOS application developed by Anybox LTD ("we", "us"). By downloading or using OK JSON, you agree to these terms. If you obtained OK JSON from the Mac App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two conflict for App Store purchases, Apple's terms prevail.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use OK JSON on Macs that you own or control. A license purchased through the Mac App Store follows Apple's usage rules; a license purchased for the direct-download version covers your own use across your Macs. You may not redistribute the app, resell or share license keys, or offer OK JSON as part of a service to third parties.
Free trial
OK JSON offers a 7-day free trial with full functionality. After the trial ends, continued use of Pro features requires a one-time purchase. No payment details are collected to start the trial, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
Purchases and refunds
OK JSON Pro is a one-time purchase. Purchases made through the Mac App Store are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its App Store terms. Purchases of the direct-download version are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, under Paddle's buyer terms; refund requests for direct purchases can be sent to us at hi@okjson.app.
Updates
A Pro purchase includes free updates, including major versions, for as long as we develop and offer OK JSON. Updates are provided as they become available; we do not promise specific features, release dates, or indefinite development, and features may change or be removed over time.
Scripts and your content
OK JSON can run JavaScript scripts that you write or install, and those scripts can read and process the data you give them, including files in the scripts folder you select. Scripts run locally on your Mac with your user account's permissions, and you are responsible for the scripts you run and for the content you process with the app. Review scripts from third parties before running them, just as you would any code.
Acceptable use
You may not use OK JSON to violate any applicable law, and you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app except to the extent permitted by law. Open-source components included in OK JSON remain governed by their respective licenses.
Intellectual property
OK JSON, including its design, icons, and documentation, is the property of Anybox LTD and is protected by copyright. Your documents remain yours; we claim no rights over the content you view or process with the app.
Disclaimer of warranties
OK JSON is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will correctly parse, repair, or transform every document. Always keep copies of important data; the app's editing and script features can modify files at your direction.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anybox LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of OK JSON. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
Your license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the app. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date at the top, and your continued use of OK JSON after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
